Why doesn't deviantART ever have contests for games I actually like?
Amidst a world of terror, sometimes it's the quiet moments that catch you. This is a painted recreation from the "All Saints Day" trailer for From Software's new game 'Dark Souls' ([link]). See if you can spot which part it's from. Since the resolution for the image is messy even at 1080p, I took a few liberties on the armor and such. Hope you enjoy (dying)!
Originally, I'd included Gravelord Nito in the very top of the picture as a looming spectre, but once I discovered he was MUCH smaller than in the trailer, it didn't seem right to have him there. Despite knowing the game in and out, I'm not actually able to afford it at the moment, but rest assured that it'll grace my PS3 by year's end.
Water effects are hard, man.
