Paz's dream came true!
[link]Man...what a weird game. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker was actually the very first game I bought and played on my PSP, but this one took so long mainly because I tried to draw it using digital brushes first, which was both laborious and frustrating; Paz herself turned out alright, but the rest of the picture was far too big for me to work to my liking (particularly ZEKE). I'll upload the presentable parts of that picture separately to my Scraps, I suppose.
As for the game itself, it's arguably one of the best titles available on the platform, ever; though I haven't tried out its predecessor, Portable Ops, I sunk 50+ hours into Peace Walker, without even touching the full-featured multiplayer.
This time, I was experimenting more with color, rather than imitating a specific style (though I'm sure it resembles some artist or other). I find Peace Walker's color palette particularly striking, especially since the previous games in the series and been based in cooler, more subdued colors.
Special thanks to

for his drawing of a confused and embarrassed Snake (
[link]), which I converted to pixel form, and also for several snapshots of ZEKE that helped immensely in planning out its proportions for this picture. The man's a true genome soldier, as I'd never have the guts to pull out my camera in the midst of a firefight with that monster.
Also, if anyone (besides Dan) knows what the pic of ZEKE is a reference to, you win.
Dedicated to

for her excellent tributes to both Peace Walker and tasteful man-sex, not to mention a pic that almost mirrored what this piece was originally going to be.
Enjoy!
EDIT 3/20 removed the outlines on Paz's hair, did my best to fix the upper part of the peace logo.
EDIT: Uploaded upscaled version.
I wounder what happened to it.
